12th biennial Seminar on antisemitism

On May 12th to 14th OHPI’s CEO, Dr Andre Oboler, attended and presented at the 12th biennial seminar on antisemitism run by the Kantor Center for the Study of Contemporary European Jewry (Tel-Aviv University, Israel). The seminar was attended by experts from around the world and covered a wide range of topics.

The presentation by OHPI (see the slide below) shared details of the Fight Against Hate Expert System, part of the FightAgainstHate.com reporting software designed to support NGOs, academic researchers and government agencies by giving them real time data on various forms of online hate. The Expert System was released later that same week at the Global Forum to Combat Antisemitism.

The presentation also include an overview of the key findings form the report into online antisemitism (also released at the Global Forum) but used these to highlight what sort of information is now possible, and what information will soon become available. The presentation and discussion focused on how this new information, and the related tools, could be of use to stakeholders around the world.
