OHPI in a seminar on social media and the law

LTULS seminarHow has the practice of law been impacted by social media and how are our laws adapting to this changing media landscape? Social networks like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube, blogs and wikis have changed the way we publish and access information. We exchange more information with more people, more frequently than ever and this has implications for many areas of Australian law.

Dr Andre Oboler, the CEO of OHPI, participated in panel discussion on the above topic at a seminar organised by La Trobe University’s Law School on October 28, 2014. Other members on the panel were Professor Patrick Keyzer, Head of La Trobe University’s Law School, Marc Trabsky, lecturer at the La Trobe University’s Law School, and David Lowden, Senior Lecturer of Journalism at La Trobe University.
