Chetna Mahadik takes on a new challenge

The Online Hate Prevention Institute is wishes Chetna Mahadik every success as she moves on from her work with us to take on new challenges the Marketing and Communications Coordinator at the Ardoch Youth Foundation.

OHPI’s CEO, Dr Andre Oboler, commented that, “Chetna worked for OHPI for two years and in that time has been an amazing asset as our Communications Manager. We’re sure she will bring that same dedication, professionalism and spirit to her important work at Ardoch”.

Chetna managed OHPI’s internal and external communications, including website content, social media and relations with the mainstream media. She oversaw the growth of our social media outreach from 4,000 followers to over 23,000 and saw OHPI featured in SBS News, SBS Radio, ABC news, The Age, The Australian and news.com.au.

The Ardoch Youth Foundation is a Melbourne-based charity that provides education support for children and young people in disadvantaged communities. We’re sure Chetna will achieve equally impressive success for this important charity.

We wish Chetna all the best in this new challenge and look forward to working to continuing to work with her, both in her new role and as a volunteer for OHPI when time allows.

As OHPI is under significant financial pressure, we will not be advertising Chetna’s former position at this time. We would welcome assistance from anyone able to help us secure additional funding to re-open this important part of our activities. Small donations from our supporters do make up a significant part of our funding, and every donation helps.
