On January 23rd 2012, the Online Hate Prevention Institute was established as Australia’s first charity dedicated to tackling all forms of online hate. Today we are recognised internationally as a world leader in combating online hate and extremism.
With a decade of experience and impact behind us, we continue the hard work tackling trolling, cyberbullying, racism, misogyny, homophobia, antisemitism, Islamophobia, transphobia, dangerous misinformation, incitement to extremist violence and other harms.
Join us in 2022 as we celebrate our successes and plan our future impact. This page will be updated through 2022 with updates on our 10th anniversary celebrations including (COVID dependant) an in-person celebration later in the year.
