Project: Google Ratings

The Online Hate Prevention Institute has successfully worked with Google to remove fake ratings made with the intention of harming Jewish and Israeli connected businesses following the October 7 terrorist attack by Hamas and the subsequent war.

We are aware there are many more instances of this and are considering a wider project to address it. The work involves compiling evidence of such activity into a confidential report we would then share with our contacts at Google.

The project is likely to cost between $2000 and $10,000 depending on how many fake reviews there are and how many businesses are impacted. Rather than including only businesses able to pay (on a fee for service basis), we invite all impacted businesses to complete this form. Those able to contribute to this work (whether or not they are impacted) can do so by making a tax deductible donation.

To find the “Address for Google Review” visit https://www.google.com/maps/ and search for the business. Then click the share button. On the pop-up screen, click “copy link” and paste it into the form below.
