This survey is being carried out by the Online Hate Prevention Institute as part of the European Conference of Public Prosecution Services on Antisemitism. Results will be presented at the conference and compiled into a report.
Who should complete this survey: Each prosecution service (in Europe or beyond) is invited to make one submission. Where a country has multiple prosecution services, each of them may seperately complete the survey. While individuals are anonymous, this survey requires that the jurisdiction and prosecution service be named and asks factual questions about relevant laws and the approaches to prosecutions. No personal information is collected and the questions are factual in nature.
Deadline: Please complete by Tuesday May 28th
Please also complete the companion opinion survey: Each prosecution service completing this survey should also have one person (it can be the same person or a different person) complete the companion opinion survey. That survey is anonymous (both regarding participants and their jurisdiction) and collates opinions on topics such as the effectiveness of current approaches and challenges in prosecuting antisemitic crimes. No personal information is collected.
Impact of participation: Completing this survey will allow a more productive ECPPSA conference but will not otherwise benefit those who complete it. We do not believe participation will cause any harm or discomfort. The lead researcher in this survey is Dr Andre Oboler who can be contacted at ceo@ohpi.org.au and concerns regarding this survey can also be directed to the Chair of the Online Hate Prevention Institute (Martin Splitter, chair@ohpi.org.au) or to the organisers of ECPPSA.
