The Online Hate Prevention Institute was established in 2012 as a dedicated organisation to act in the public interest for the prevention and control of online behaviour that is harmful or abusive to human beings. We focus specifically on online racism and other forms of hate speech which can lead to physical abuse, emotional abuse and self harm.

In February the Board of Directors appointed Dr Oboler as Managing Director and CEO of the new organisation.
