Families fighting to keep loved ones out of extremist groups struggle to find intervention programs

ABC News reports on a number of families who have seen loved ones radicalised by extremist communities, and talks to Matt Quinn in his role as CEO and founder of Exit Australia. Exit Australia is a branch of OHPI dedicated to helping radicalised individuals find the support required to get out of violent extremist communities. Matt explains the difficulties in family members securing support for radicalised individuals, and the strategies he has previously used in order to help them gain support. Matt will be featured in Four Corners this evening, where he will discuss his work helping to combat violent extremism.
