Making Change Happen

Together we’re making a difference!

The problem of antisemitism and Holocaust denial on Facebook continues to grow. Just this past week Facebook suspended one of the users behind the denial page “The Untold Story” but again refused to close the page. The administrator has responded by making a range of fake account and 22 new Holocaust denial pages. The system responding to such abuse is broken and needs to be changed.

Three ways we’re making change happen with your help:

  1. We’re supporting the protest at Facebook’s offices on Monday
  2. We’re running a petition with recommendations for change
  3. We’re raising funds to build software that empowers the public and holds Facebook accountable

Please do forward this e-mail to others, we have less than 48 hoursbefore the petition closes and the protests starts. Details below.

Thank you for your support!

RAISING FUNDS

We’re raising funds to develop an amazing new online tool. This tool will empower social media users and hold companies like Facebook and YouTube publicly accountable.

How it will work:

  • When you report / flag content you can also put them in the new system
  • The system will you check the reports others have entered – improving quality
  • We can check when things are removed (and how long it takes)
  • We can generate lists of things the public agree should be removed and which the platforms are dragging their feet over\
  • We can generate the data to show that not enough is being done to stop the spread of online hate.

Donations are in $US and can be made internationally. Donations from Australia are tax deductible (see details).
