To mark the 10th anniversary of the Cronulla riots on December 12, OHPI joined the national charity All Together Now in an online campaign #silencetheracists.

The far right groups were planning to use the Cronulla riots anniversary to organise an anti-Islam rally at the beach. This in turn would lead to further racist and hateful comments on the social media. All Together Now aimed to flood the social media with cat memes so that instead of hate, the trending topics and images would be that of cats, an eternal favourite on social media.

OHPI did its bit by posting, tweeting, retweeting and liking the cat memes all day to support All Together Now.
