OHPI at the JCCV Award Night

Dr Tim Soutphommasane, Race Discrimination Commissioner is spoke at the Jewish Community Council of Victoria Awards Night. He said our diversity gives us strength as we face challenges to national security. The St Kilda Shule Choir sang a medley of songs from World War One. The award night was named after General Sir John Monash, and appropriately took place at the Monash University which is also named for him.

Monash is considered one of the best Allied generals of the First World War and the most famous commander in Australian history. He played a foundational role in the establishment of Australian identity. Monash was a proud Australian and a proud member of the Australian Jewish Community.
