David Blumenstein has published a cartoon strip for the The Nib about Ben Garrison and his long saga with online trolls. Ben Garrison is a graphic artist who’s work about the federal reserve was co-opted by antisemites online. When Ben tried to distance himself from forged antisemitic cartoons, a years-long trolling campaign began in which Garrison was falsely represented as a neo-Nazi.

The cartoon strip depicts the relationship that formed between Garrison and the Online Hate Prevention Institute, who contacted Garrison to help combat the trolling. The strip discusses the nature of trolling, and the extent to which trolls genuinely believe the antisemitic things they say.
